During the late Spring, Summer, and Fall you can enjoy the best of the Connecticut River and Shoreline in the slip of your choice – first come, first serve. Every season promises something special to remember.

Spring: May Market, Memorial Day Parade, Rotary Club Shad Bake.

Summer: Farmers Market in town on Friday afternoons, Ivoryton Playhouse, Concert in the Park on Wednesday nights, Lions Club Lobster and Steak Bake.

Fall: Foliage trips up and down the river, Ivoryton Pumpkin Festival, Halloween Parade on Main Street, Trees in the Rigging Holiday Boat Parade.

And there is fine dining (dozens of award-winning restaurants within a 20 minute drive), the Goodspeed Opera House and Goodspeed at Chester, arts and antiques, picturesque landscapes, and so much more no matter what the season may be.

Our permanent Guests are extended the courtesy of first right of refusal for their slip from year to year. We also offer a storage/dockage package – please contact our main office for details.

When it comes time to put the fleet to bed for the winter, our Guests then entrust Lenny and the crew of Sea Bound Marine to decommission and shore up for a few months. Whether the owner chooses to have the yard maintain the vessel or prefers to tinker in his (or her) spare time, your yacht will be safe and secure while the fury of the New England winter knocks on our door. Please feel free to cross the bridge and visit your boat during the winter – a hot lunch at the “Gris” or the “Seal” will warm you up again. Holiday shopping, Essex Ed on Groundhog’s Day, and the Connecticut Audubon Eagle Festival keep Main Street hopping even when there’s a chill in the air.
